Report on the first meeting of the Association Council

On March 22, 2018, the first working conference of the Non-Profit Corporate Organization Association for the Development of Urban Parks and Public Spaces was held in Zaryadye Park. The following issues were discussed at the meeting: the Council and Association sectors development, the approval of the corporate identity and website layout, coordination of the action plan and calendar of events for 2018, as well as the rules of joining Association for state and commercial structures.

The Director of the the Moscow Zoo Svetlana Akulova, CEO at the digital agency Create2Be Elena Volkovskaya, the Director of Mosgorpark Vyacheslav Dunayev, a representative of Botanical Garden of Moscow State University «Apothecary Garden» Sergey Isaev, the Director of the Joint Directorate Khimki Parks Alexander Kvasnikov, the Deputy Director of Zaryadye Park Karine Lazareva, the Director of Sokolniki Park Andrey Lapshin, the Director of Gorky Park Marina Liulchuk, CEO at Pioner Cinema Mary Nazari, a representative of Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design and the General Director of Strelka Architects Daria Paramonova, the Director of Zaryadye Park Pavel Trekhleb, the Director of Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve Elizaveta Fokina, CEO at media project and advertising agency ParkSeason Rus Ltd. Denis Tsukanov, the Director of the Hermitage Garden and Tagansky Park Alexey Chibin participated in the discussion.

A preliminary plan of events in which the Association will participate, as well as a list of its own conferences and presentations will be announced in April. Also in mid-April we intend to hold the first official press conference of the Association of Parks for the media in one of Moscow press centers. The exact date and venue will be announced in the nearest future.
