Spain as a New Partner of the Association of Parks

The Russian Association for the Development of Urban Parks and Public Spaces and the Spanish Association of Parks and Public Gardens (AEPJP) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. Francisco Bergua Viskarra, President of AEPJP, visited Moscow to participate in a bilateral meeting. The signing took place in Sokolniki Park Directorate. During the meeting, the formats of cooperation between the two organizations on experience exchange and joint development of park culture in Russia and Spain were discussed. In addition, Andrey Lapshin, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Parks, NPO, Director of Sokolniki Park, spoke about the structure of his park, its main facilities and the specifics of management depending on the season, as well as gave a tour to Francisco and his wife around the territory of Sokolniki.
